Mestre Raposa is a Portuguese company founded 25 years ago by the Helmert brothers with the aim of bringing German-quality windows and doors to Portugal. The company specializes in the design, supply and installation of windows and doors.
From the beginning, the focus has been on supplying high-quality products coupled with premium service. In the two decades since its inception, Mestre Raposa has completed over 5,000 window and door projects and its products have been utilized in various types of buildings.
History
In the early 2000s, the availability of window and door options was limited in the region. Clients from Central and Northern Europe building holiday homes in Portugal struggled to source windows and doors of the same quality that was available in their home countries. This gap in the market led to Mestre Raposa opening its doors in 2003. The company’s primary economic activity is classified as carpentry and the installation of joinery and it focuses on window and door solutions for residential and commercial projects.
International Expansion
Over time, the company expanded its activities beyond the Portuguese market, including projects in France. This expansion was supported by its connection with the Luso-French Chamber of Commerce, which contributed to strengthening the company’s visibility and network within the French market. This expansion is part of the company’s broader growth strategy. The company is headquartered in the Algarve and operates in both national and international markets.
Activities
The company operates in the construction sector, providing customized window and door systems in wood, aluminum, wood-aluminum and PVC for new constructions, renovation projects and historic or listed buildings. Mestre Raposa also provides entrance doors, shutters, zip screens, shading systems and wintergardens.
